Detection Technology presents paper on enhanced tire quality control at Digital Imaging 2016

Detection Technology will present a paper on enhanced tire quality control by novel x-ray digital detectors at Digital Imaging 2016 annual conference. Authored and presented by Fei Wang, Business Development Manager at Detection Technology US, the paper highlights how detectors based on the new, intelligent platform improve image quality, increase maximum scanning speed and save the overall system cost of in-line and off-line nondestructive testing (NDT) of tires in the industry.

As a result of intensive technology and market studies the paper explains in detail the improvements enabled by the advanced electronics and software designs. The paper also underlines possibilities to utilize the same digital platform for quality inspection of various types of tires, and the remote firmware upgrades and diagnostics improving production efficiency.

The Digital Imaging Conference is ASNT’s (the American Society for Nondestructive Testing) longest running conference of digital and radiographic imaging. The Digital Imaging Conference will be held in Mashantucket, Connecticut on July 25-26.
