In this Inside Sales Associate role, your main responsibility is to assist sales and marketing work in both Security and Industrial business units serving customers in North and South America.

In your daily work, you support the sales process in various tasks:

• Handle customer purchase orders, e.g. receive and process customer PO’s in ERP system, coordinate order fulfillment and order confirmation with internal operations teams, communicate logistics details to customers, act as the point of contact with our third party import/export vendor, and deliver invoices to customers.
• Handle service RMA’s, e.g. receive RMA requests from customers, open RMA cases in the DT system, coordinate logistics and communication with customer and service teams.
• Selected CRM administration duties

As Inside Sales Associate, you also support business units in sales and marketing tasks and in various administrative tasks:

• Lead generation and qualification
• Fielding and resolving customer issues
• Handling incoming phone calls and emails, welcoming visitors, and coordinating shipments in and out of the office. Handling of customer remittances.
• Assisting Operations with inventory management
• Assisting Finance with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Support marketing material preparation (brochures, presentations, datasheets, web page updates etc.)
• Support exhibitions and marketing events
• Handle office invoices and ordering of supplies

Requirements:

• Good experience of sales principles and customer service practices
• Experience in ERP, preferably Infor LN or Baan and in CRM, preferably Salesforce.com
• Excellent skills in using Microsoft Office tools
• Customer driven approach and working methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and customer service focus
• Superior organizational skills
• Self-motivated and proactive team player
• Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written, other languages are a plus
• A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or equivalent
• Experience with sales tax, incoterms, and import/export principles is a plus
• Experience working in an international business and/or in the scientific technology fields is a plus
