Bone densitometry

Osteoporosis is a “silent” disease, with no symptoms until a fracture occurs, medical diagnostic testing is required to allow for early treatment. Bone densitometry is a quantitative measurement of bone mass or density; it is a non-invasive, inexpensive examination. Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA or DEXA) is the most common densitometry method, and is considered to be the gold standard for diagnosing osteoporosis.

By taking advantage of our competence in medical and industrial area, were offer series of products which can meet the central and peripheral DEXA system needs. Our X-cards work together with our data acquisition board (X-DAQ) which can read pixel data from X-cards, sample and process the data and then send the digital data to host computer. This data acquisition board can enable customer to realize fast development and short time to market.

Complete subsystems with mechanical housings are also available, contact us for more information.
