Detection Technology shortlisted for the Star of Innovation category in the European Small and Mid-Cap Awards 2016
Detection Technology has been shortlisted for the Star of Innovation award category in the European Small and Mid-Cap Awards 2016. The winners of each award category will be announced to the public on 17 November 2016.
Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE) and European Issuers received a total of 24 nominations from twelve European stock exchanges. An independent jury, consisting of representatives from academia, asset management, brokerage and the media, reviewed the applications in a process supervised by the European Commission.
The Star of Innovation award category is targeted for newly listed mid-cap companies placing innovation at the center of its strategy for business development. It may be introducing innovative technology to the market, or using innovative techniques in its day-to-day operations as well as an innovative financing strategy. The company has to be well managed and successful in its sector. The jury has paid particular attention to the future potential that the innovation offers.
The awards ceremony will be held in Brussels on 17 November 2016. The awards ceremony was organized for the first time in 2013 by FESE, at the initiative of the Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs of the European Commission.
